The Trill Way!

What’s up this is Hugo Trill! I am 22 years old & I was born in 1997 here in the DMV. My father was born in Port Antonio, Jamaica & my mom was born in Northern VA in the DMV area. I lost my dad at a young age but that did not stop me from growing up and being the best man and father to my two beautiful daughters. Growing up I found a way to let my music tell my story & my loyalty chooses to my family and the people around me. So fuck with me and show me your loyalty and I’m not going to let you or the DMV down.

How and when did you start making music?

I was about 16 when I first started rapping / free-styling but I never took it serious until I was 18.

Who were you early inspirations, and how have they changed since Then?

Chris Brown has always been a music inspiration for me even though he was more R&B than rap but  who really caught my eye in the rap game when I was 16 was the Migos. My inspiration now is my two baby girls & my brother Dre. Whom was a victim to police brutality in 2016. I’m going to do this for them until the world blows.

If you could work with anybody who would it be?

If i could work with anyone it would probably be Ralo Rodriguez, No Cap, Or Kevin Gates. But I honestly rather blow up with out a heavy hitter feature from someone that’s already up.

What do you like most about the industry?

I love the platforms because it’s easy and it’s the best way to tell my story. It’s the only way I know how and I love my fans.

What do you hate most about the industry?

I don’t like fake love or cap artist.

What message do you want to send with your music?

Stay loyal stay you.

What's the biggest challenge you face as an independent artist?

I had a hard time finding a studio when I came home and trust me it’s deeper than it sounds.

How do you overcome those obstacles?

I finally met a great engineer/ producer that has a sound ear for my many flows and we locked in. Shout out Dip Productions.

What else would you like your listeners to know about you?

Fan or a hater i love you no cap but I rather you be a fan though.

Where can they listen to your work?

My work is on all platforms including spinrilla & my Mixtapez. Snips and new releases can be found on all platforms.
