K'Day's Wave Lands Him With TCB Records!

My name is Khalil Davis . I go by "K'Day" . 23 years old from Kansas City Missouri . 

I produce and write my own music. I've Started on a laptop while playing professionally basketball overseas in personal studio. I've had a private studio session with the head A&R at Atlantic Records. I also performed for power 105 in New York. Graduated with a bachelor degree from Austin Peay State University, played college basketball in Clarksville Tn whiched then lead me to professionally play in Sweden 2016. I’m using my voice and craft to path the way. With that being said, I encourage everybody to live life with faith . 

1. How and when did you start making music?

Music has been natural in my family my whole life . But I started taking it serious last year when all I had was time outside of professionally basketball. So I made a personal studio in my closet and Sweden then when the season was over and I got back to America I made the closet in my room wit my space my studio. I’ve never been to a real studio yet . But that’s why I feel like I’m a walking picture of faith. That’s all the formula I used. Faith

2. Who were you early inspirations, and how have they changed since Then?

My early inspirations were Chris Brown, the way he uses his mind made him a standout artist, and thats something I always wanted. Creativity is everything!

3. If you could work with anybody who would it be?

Pnb Rock , Lil Durk, A Boogie , Yung Bleu, Chris Brown 

4. What do you like most about the industry?

It’s hella hot music dropping right now. I like the new sounds and vibes coming from everywhere.

5. What do you hate most about the industry?

The the hunger and greed and money. Life is more Than Gold.

6. What message do you want to send with your music?

I want u to influence everybody to walk in faith. Never give up! I believe u don’t need anyone as long as u got the Lord and always put yourself first. Keep that in mind, and your success will come. I want to make it deep in the industry and do things no one ever did before. Use my money to open up opportunities for my community, start a sub label in my home town. I just wanna bring hope and faith everywhere I go and every time some one here’s my voice.

7. What's the biggest challenge you face as an independent artist?

Everybody wanting the top spot so they do anything and everything to get it.


8. How do you overcome those obstacles?


Focus on myself. I hear others opinions, but I will only LISTEN to them if there gonna benefit me.

Be ready for a sound and wave you’ve never heard or seen before . Tell ya mommmma nem lol it’s a big wave coming 💯
